Oy Pamon Ab produces high-quality air conditioners and air conditioning cooling units under Pilpit and KAIR trade names for industrial facilities, offices, schools, blocks of flats, and terraced and detached houses.The KAIR range is developed and manufactured at the company’s factory in Hollola, in the Päijät-Häme region.

Established in 1994, the company is a part of Volution Group plc. Pamon is a market leader in terms of quality, technical properties and reliability.

Environmental values are important to us, which is why we use local suppliers and design products that are durable. Our suppliers and materials are Finnish.

Pamon will continue to invest in continuous product development in the future, focusing on usability and design, in addition to the technical quality of the products.

The history of KAIR products

In the 1980s, Veijo Paaso’s wife Aino was diagnosed with asthma, a condition which forced her to spend long periods in hospital. Veijo realised that having efficient ventilation at home would help to minimise the time Aino had to spend hospitalised. When he failed to find an air conditioner with efficient filtering, Veijo built a device in his garage. Once the system was installed, Aino was able to move back home. Soon, other families contacted Veijo to request that he build a ventilation system for them too.

The first KAIR product was born.

The KAIR system

KAIR is not only an air conditioner but also an indoor air management system. It looks after the well-being of both people and buildings. Monitoring the changes in weather conditions and activities taking place in the building, the system adjusts ventilation levels accordingly.

for residential premises

KAIR solutions for residential premises offer features such a fireplace switch for easy lighting of the fire, and a pressure adjustment functionality that automatically directs purified incoming air to the central vacuum cleaning system and the extractor fan. The air conditioner is also equipped with a cooling system that cools the incoming air and removes excess humidity from it.

and for commercial premises

With the ECoRotor and ECoCounter models, the efficiency of ventilation can be controlled via a unit-specific control system or an automation substation. Ventilation can be stepped up in line with changes in carbon dioxide and humidity levels. These models are also available with an integrated, ready-to-use cooling system.
